Aida Yespica was born as Aida Maria Yespica Jaime born on 15 July 1982 in Venezuela.

She began her career in Venezuela and won the title of Miss Venezuela in 2002 at their national pageant. This opened the door for her modeling career as she was representing Miss Amazonas (she lost the competition but thanks to her perfect measurements, became popular in the media). She relocated to Italy in 2003 to start and put her modeling dreams in motion. This gave her the opportunities to appear on TV, in various entertainment shows, on fashion shows, in commercials and as a presenter. She also appeared on GQ and Maxim magazine covers multiple times.

Her modeling and presenting took her to the world of reality shows and she started getting more recognized on TV in a show "L'isola dei Famosi" in Italy and "supervivientes" in Spain.

She gained big popularity due to her personality. This also led to the introduction into the movie world and her attempt as an actress, with her first movie being TV movie "Domani e un'altra truffa".

There was a controversy in 2007 with Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, due to his open flirting with Aida, which enraged his wife where Berlusconi had to issue a note to say that he will always respect his wife's dignity. However, Berlusconi, more recently, said to Aida that he would go anywhere with her as well as that he if he wasn't married, he would marry Mara Carfagna.

On a personal note, she now lives in Turkey with her boyfriend, footballer Matteo Ferrari. They have a boy together, Aron, who was born on 27 November 2008. Shortly after Aron's birth, they split up in January 2009 after almost 2 years together, but reconciled in December the same year. They now live together unmarried as a family.
